Our company history
After studying Spanish language and culture at the University of Madrid in the summer of 1972, I fell in love with the country. Although I did not return for several years after my first experience in the land of Don Quixote, my interest in Spain and the Spanish language continued and was further enhanced when I met former U.C. Davis Spanish professor and attorney, Dr. Glenn Lipskey. Dr. Lipskey provided me with personal insights and impressions of Spain that I will always remember. Glenn remained my good friend and weekly tutor for 10 years until his passing in 2007.
In 1999 I co-founded the Spanish conversation group "La Tertulia Espanola de Folsom" which provides "oficionados" of the Spanish language the opportunity to meet and converse in Castillian. That same year, I put my love for the Spanish language and knowledge of the Iberian Peninsula together and began leading tour groups through Spain. What a great experience! After prompting from satisfied clients, our company began offering group trips to other Spanish-speaking countries, including Mexico and Costa Rica. Today, we offer organized and custom trips to many parts of the world. We look forward to serving you!
